Tips for Outside Evaluators
The UGA RCLD is responsible to apply the BOR established documentation criteria uniformly across all feeder institutions. Evaluators can help the RCLD with the outside evaluation process by providing a thorough, accurate, and up-to-date diagnostic report. The RCLD has compiled a list of "evaluation tips" we believe will be useful to evaluators as they conduct and write reports for students with disabilities who plan to attend a postsecondary institution. Familiarity with these tips and the BOR criteria is the best way for evaluators to prevent delays in postsecondary accommodations.
